Mr. Javed Iqbal is presently working as a Lecture in Department of English at GIFT University, Gujranwala. He has extensive experience of teaching at undergraduate levels over a period exceeding five years. Javed Iqbal completed his MPhil English degree from The GIFT University, Gujranwala. While perusing M.Phil. English, he worked as a visiting faculty member of English and Islamic studies and a teaching assistant at GIFT university for one year. He also worked as the editor of Punjabi section of the university magazine ‘Zarnab’.
Before joining GIFT, he worked as a lecturer at Chenab College of Engineering and Technology, Gujranwala, affiliated with UET, Lahore. He taught interdisciplinary courses including English, Islamic and Pak. Studies and Sociology. Alongside his teaching responsibilities, he also acted as controller of examination department for six months. Furthermore, he established and supervised Chenab Event Management and Literary societies throughout his stay at the college which were responsible to organize many academic, literary and cultural events.
In addition to the academic achievements, Javed Iqbal received MA Arabic/Islamic studies (Al-Shahadatul Almiya Fil Uloomal Arabia wal Islamia) degree from Wafaq ul Madaras, Multan. During his study period at Madrasa Haqqaniah, Gujranwala, he served as the Khateeb and Imam at a mosque in Gujranwala.
