Biography

Dr. Shazia Riaz Dar is the Assistant Professor at English Department, GIFT University, Pakistan. She completed her PhD in Linguistics from Air University, Islamabad. She has been awarded a research grant by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan for her PhD research. She joined Cardiff University, United Kingdom as a postgraduate research scholar. During that period, she also worked as a volunteer with Cardiff Council at Hubs and Libraries in volunteer position. 

She received her MPhil in Linguistics from Lahore Leads University where she received a gold medal for distinguished academic performance. She did her MA in English Linguistics and Literature from University of Gujrat. She performed the famous role of Lady Macbeth, the protagonist in Shakespeare’s Macbeth in a three hours enactment, organized by English Department, University of Gujrat.
