Ashar Hasan Dhariwal completed his Masters in English Literature from Government College Lahore back in 1990. He is the senior most faculty member of the English Department. In all he has the teaching experience of almost thirty years. 

Prior to his joining at GIFT University, he taught at other prestigious educational institutions like Quaid-e-Azam Divisional Public School and College Gujranwala, Superior Science College Gujranwala, Beaconhouse School System (Gujranwala Chapter) where he taught the Matric Classes, FSc classes, O Level and A level classes as well as served in the role of Career Advisor. Since 2008, he is with GIFT University and has taught the students of BBA, MBA, BS English and MA English.
