Biography

Sidrah Ejaz is currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of English at GIFT University. She has been teaching undergraduate students since 2019. Before joining GIFT, she worked as a CTI (College Teaching Internee) at Government Degree College for Women, Tariq Aba, Khokharki, Gujranwala, where she taught the students of Intermediate and Bachelor of Arts.

Before adopting teaching as her profession, she did her MA in English Language and Literature in 2016 with distinction from GIFT University. Then, she did MPhil English in 2019 from the very institute. Primarily, her research in MPhil was based on the English plays of 1960s. She worked on “A New Historical Analysis of ‘The Angry Young Man’ Movement in the Selected English Plays of 1960s”. She is keen to pursue her research in PhD as well.

Currently, she is a member of the permanent faculty at GIFT University, and helps students enhance their communicative competence and reading and writing skills.
