Board of Faculty (BoF) Meeting Held at GIFT University

GIFT University successfully conducted its Board of Faculty (BoF) meeting in the Main Block Library, bringing together esteemed academicians and thought leaders to review and approve key academic agendas. The meeting served as an important platform to discuss academic strategies, review proposed initiatives, and strengthen the vision of academic excellence at GIFT University.

The session was enriched by the presence of two distinguished external members: Prof. Dr. Nizam Uddin, Pro-Rector, Superior University Lahore; Chairman, BOD KITAAS, Lahore; Ex-Chairman PHEC; and Former Vice Chancellor, University of Gujrat, and Prof. Dr. Tahir Kamran, Head of Liberal Arts, Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. Their valuable insights added depth to the deliberations, ensuring that the outcomes are aligned with both academic standards and future educational trends.

From within the university, the meeting was attended by Mr. Waseem Ullah Dar, Registrar, GIFT University; Prof. Dr. Um-i-Lela, Professor & Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences; Dr. Husnain Sethi, Dean, Schools of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture; Dr. Taimur Kayani, Professor & Head, Department of English; Dr. Aayesha Rafique, Professor & Head, Department of Islamic Studies; Dr. Mohsin Ali Shams, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Mass Communication and Media Studies; Mr. Tahir Malik, Assistant Professor & Director, Department of Mass Communication and Media Studies; Dr. Muhammad Talha Khalid, Head, Department of Humanities & Social Sciences; and Mr. Ali Aman, Director, International Relations, Political Science & Sociology, along with many other esteemed faculty members of GIFT University.

The Board of Faculty unanimously approved the presented agendas, reinforcing GIFT University’s commitment to fostering innovation, advancing research, and ensuring high academic standards.
